Time just flies by but still really missing mum and dad! Appreciating more as time goes by just how much they did for me and the care and love they gave. Happy memories of home and our days out and holidays mainly with mum.. and our lovely little dogs, Sooty the poodle and Kim the daschund.. how I wish we'd made more of our time together! Rx

Very much thinking of Dad and Mum on this anniversary 21st January 2024...still really miss them! My 70th birthday just celebrated with friends in December and I think I now better appreciate how Dad coped as he aged...not always easy! Would so appreciate their advice and wish I'd listened more carefully when they were here! I think their support and care is more appreciated as time goes by. Missing dad and mum so very much in this extraordinary year of Covid lockdowns...all very disconcerting and scary. Trying to keep positive as thry would znd realising how difficult things were for them living through war years, rationing and more recently illness and loss...brave people! Love Rosemary

Can't believe a year has gone by, missing Dad more than he would guess but trying to keep positive and keeping busy and feeling supported thanks to my lovely and excellent friends, with love and thanks to both Dad and Mum, Rosemary N. 21 January 2019.

Daffodil bulbs are also being planted at Woodvale in memory of both Ron and Phyll near where their Ashes are spread near the tiny chapel and woodland Garden of rest.

The metal leaf in memory of both Ron and my mother Phyll is now set on the tree in the Memorial room at Woodvale. Missing them do much! Love Rosemary N.

From Dad's service.. quoted from a poem: I give you this one thought to keep, I am with you still I do not sleep, I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night . I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
